Terms of Service

1. The service

MeetBills is a personal finance and budgeting application that helps you track your income, bills, subscriptions, and spending. By creating an account you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Closed beta

MeetBills is currently in closed beta. Access requires an invitation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service during this period without prior notice. Beta users should not rely on the service for critical financial record-keeping.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use MeetBills. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use MeetBills to commit fraud or engage in illegal activity.
• Attempt to circumvent security controls, scrape data programmatically without authorization, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
• Transmit malware, spam, or any content that disrupts the service.
• Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access to your account.

5. Subscription, trial, and cancellation

Free tier — available indefinitely with limited features. No credit card required.

Premium trial — new Premium subscribers receive a 14-day free trial with full Premium access. No charge is made during the trial. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends without being charged.

Billing— after the trial, Premium is billed monthly or annually at the rates shown on the pricing page. All prices are in US dollars and are subject to change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Cancellation — you may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Premium access until then. We do not issue prorated refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

Payment processing— payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment details you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

6. Your data

You own the financial data you enter into MeetBills. We do not sell it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and handle your data.

7. No financial advice

MeetBills is a budgeting tool, not a financial adviser. Nothing in the app — including AI Coach responses, debt payoff projections, cashflow forecasts, or any other output — constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions that affect your financial situation.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

MeetBills is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeetBills and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including any financial decisions you make based on data or projections from MeetBills. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. Before pursuing formal action, please contact billing@meetbills.com — most concerns can be resolved in good faith.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
